The bogo fund

The monthly rebate in the bogo loyalty program serves primarily to “recycle” basic spending, including many of a bogo member’s ongoing basic expenses – education, food, clothing, medical and entertainment.

While expenses vary, in most cases a bogo member’s monthly spending will roughly equal the amount of rebate available from the member’s bogo group, so that the amount “recycled” to the member corresponds to his outlays for the month (up to 100% of spending, depending on the number of referred members in the member’s bogo group).

What happens, however, when a member is faced with a major purchase or life-cycle event – a home remodel or a wedding? Even when purchased through the bogo network, these large expenditures cause the member’s expenses to shoot up, far beyond the amount of rebate available for that month.

To meet this challenge – to relieve the great pressure that large-scale purchases and life-cycle events place on the consumer, the bogo loyalty program incorporates an ingenious solution, the bogo fund:

The bogo fund program allows a member to pay into his own bogo fund account as if it were a bogo network vendor – so that he can receive the full monthly rebate available from his bogo group’s spending. Bogo fund payments never expire and can be withdrawn at any time. Each month, the member may pay in any amount desired, to grow his bogo fund account in advance of anticipated large purchases and expenses.

When it comes time for those big expenditures, the member may now access the money paid into his bogo fund account – which in fact has already been “recycled” to him through his monthly rebates – to pay the bogo network merchants and service providers (caterers, photographers, event halls, etc.) for the event. Using the bogo fund, a bogo member will be able to make an elaborate wedding (or complete kitchen remodel, etc.) virtually for free, using money already returned in bogo monthly rebates.
